I know people comment on the nudity of this show all the time...

But I am interested to know why Underbelly has such an audience and DVD sells out in record time

And be honest

I watched it for the story, if I wanted to see nudity I'd download porn.
The nudity was a bonus but it made it a pain to watch at home as Id have to turn it off when the kids walked in the room.
(I sure as hell wouldn't watch it when it premieres on TV because of the ads)

My kids had to go and do something constructive in their rooms when it was on last year.

Definitely wasn't for their eyes IMO.
I think it bordered more on an R rating rather than M alot of the time.

Although I must say I was in the minority (Well according to them )
got the old "Other kids from school are allowed to watch it"

For the story and how the characters were played out ... I'll watch the second series for the same reasons, although I have a terrible feeling they'll butcher this one by using has-been Aussie Actors, as opposed to mostly up and comers in the 1st series, hope Im wrong.

For the story. I read about it in the paper as it was going on at the time, and to put events and places together was great.

Nudity. Hoping to catch Roy Billing with his kit off in this series.
