Think The Sweeny look with a bit of sci-fi...sort of.

I think dog_ger is talking about the Yank version (boooooo!) which is just about to begin here.

Ah fair enough zippy...didn't know there was a US version but I guess the's no reason why it shouldn't work too.

True, although they occasionally hit the right buttons, but they did do the 70's cop show thing pretty well...Kojak, Starsky and Hutch, Barney Miller so going back to the 'who loves ya baby' or the Huggy Bear types might work.
