Don't see why you shouldn't like it...was very, very popular here...even got a sequel...Ashes to Ashes.

Think The Sweeny look with a bit of sci-fi...sort of.

...and of course it stars the yummy Philip Glenister ;)

Ah fair enough zippy...didn't know there was a US version :D but I guess the's no reason why it shouldn't work too.

Because the yanks cant do comedy remotely as well as the poms can

True, although they occasionally hit the right buttons, but they did do the 70's cop show thing pretty well...Kojak, Starsky and Hutch, Barney Miller ;) so going back to the 'who loves ya baby' or the Huggy Bear types might work.
