A group of us at work were wondering what suburb was the basis for the story last night on TT.. regarding not being able to go out, violence etc?

Did anyone see it ? I can't find any information online.

I think it was Smithfield.

GWW is correct Smithfield is the suburb named

odviously smithfield would be up there

I was going to watch the story but ended up missing it .There was a security guard on the shorts for the story .and I thought the suburb was up north as he was a guard for a northern wrestling fed .

A bit unfair in my opinion, i live in Elizabeth North now and have lived in the heart of Smithfield on Crittenden Rd and have many many many times walked threw/to or around smithfield at all times of the day and night, coming home from parties, friends, pub and whatever else.
Not once have i had a single incident (touch wood) no doubt there is violence and so forth but i think if you don't look for trouble on the whole you generally can avoid trouble.
And im not a massive or large intimidating looking person either.

i was born and bred elizabeth boy and yes walked some interesting streets in my time there, and agree that there is not as much trouble in that area as everyone says, but if your looking for trouble or trying to cause it then thats a different story.

Very very true mate. Born and bred 5113, and never looked for trouble and never found any! And iv been in some shady spots at some shady times!
