FREEVIEW?

Have been watching the box the last couple of nights and they have been plugging freeview.
Does anyone know if
(a) it will run on existing set top boxes
(b) it will have multi viewing like the freeview in the uk and foxtel (where you can choose what game you want to watch by pushing the red button)
(c) and they have been saying 15 channels. Are these just rehashes of the existing channels in hd or will there be different viewing on each channel?

It is happening right now and has been for quite sometime. I think currently there are these stations operating on digital (both SD & HD):

ABC HD
ABC1
ABC2

TenHD
OneHD (new 24 hour sports channel - but currently showing the same as TenHD)
Ten Digital

SevenHD
Seven Digital 1
Seven Digital 2
Seven Digital 3

NineHD
Nine Digital

SBS HD
SBS1
SBS2

Right now, most of the channels from each station all show the same thing, with channels like SevenHD and NineHD throwing in some different programs now and then. TenHD currently shows NFL, NASCAR and some other US Sports in morning timeslots. ABC2 is really the only stand alone second channel by any station, with programs completely different. However, alot of the programs on ABC2 are just repeated ones that aired earlier on different days/timeslots on ABC1.

If they could get the rights for the Serie A, Primera Liga or Budesliga they'd be on a winner !

Continental Football, earlier viewing times and who wouldn't want to watch Juve, Inter, Barca
Bayern etc strut their stuff...

Having some football will just top it off. Something to watch Saturday Night / Sunday Morning would be great.

as a NASCAR fan, channel ten will only get the Sprint Cup a week after its on, as Fox Sports have the contract for another few seasons to come yet. Nationwide is just the entry level really for the up and coming stars, so tends to be boring to watch that series. or tho the Sprint cup stars that race in it tend to dominate

So need to get out and buy a HD box now, apart from the fact of getting ONEHD, but also my SD box has started to crap itself. Nothing like it rebooting itself in the middle of show.
