It was really crap didn't enjoy it

I watched about 5 minutes, not even a smile
turned over to Thank God Youre Here and got more laughs

I didn't even bother after reading the reports on it.

Kath & Kim Oz stopped being funny years ago - they've been flogging the dead horse ever since it pulled the pumpkin-style coach. The yank version was neither good nor howlingly bad. It was just a bit...meh.

Every bit as unfunny as the local version...

I had been cautious to think an Aussie TV show could be made any worse than what it already was,I was wrong,so wrong.

Watched for about 2 minutes, looked at the missus, she looked at me.... silence....nup.

Was poo.
Selma Blair is waaaaay too hot to be Kim.
She's delicious.

The thing about Yanks is there's no originality...
They've been ripping off overseas sitcoms & claiming them as their own for decades
ie.
Steptoe & Son became 'Sanford & Son'
Man about the House became 'Three's Company'
The Office surprisingly enuff became 'The Office'
'til Death us do Part became 'All in the Family' (Which really wasn't all that bad)
& the worst was the Seppo attempt at Fawlty Towers called 'Amandas' starring that rough as guts Golden Girl Bea Arthur
(That show quickly died in the arse eh!)
Odds on, Kath & Kim is gonna get the chop & not a moment too soon!

I thought the first Aussie series of Kath & Kim was good but its gone down hill from there....

I remember "All in the Family" it was perhaps the only US adaptation of a UK comedy that worked, basically because of the casting, decent acting saved it.

i saw an add for this.. and that was enough... looks so so dodgey!

Surely the ratings for this show are very bad

they reckon teh ratings were huge... well thats what they said..

lets see how big they are this week tho... they reckon its a us smash... even tho most critics slammed it over there.

I recorded it to see if it was any different/better.

I stopped watching after 8 minutes (I thought I'd give it a GOOD chance)

Good enough for sixth on Sunday night.

However, the ratings crashed in the second half of the show...

The yanks did a series of Coupling too, where they used the exact same script as the British version, and it was CRAP! The yanks have no comedic timing.
