I have Austar, Foxtel to you city folk, and have the basic package plus sport.
Previously you had to pay extra on top of that to get Setanta Sports.
In the past few days I've been able to watch it.
I haven't paid anything extra.
Is it now a part of the sport package?

I got an email from them saying it is on for free til the end of Nov I think, nothing decent on it anyway, wouldn't pay extra for it!

Heck - all of the WC qualifiers in Europe and South America are getting a run at the moment!
Plus all the Scottish football.
Thanks though Brad, I'd assume we've got the same thing going on.

We have Setanta over here. They have about 7 channels.
One is dedicated to Irish sport, football, Gaelic Football and Irish Racing.
Anothers have US Football (Grid Iron) and also NAScar.
They also have EPL games having purchased some of the rights. Also show SPL and a lot of French and German Bundasliega. Spanish La Liga is wrapped up by Sky who show at least 3 or 4 live games per week, and Channls 4 and 5 do the Seri A.
The other thing Setanta cover is AFL. They do a live (repeated at a more godly hour) match each week with a round up.
Cost: $22.00 per month. Not worth it for me. I thought about it, just for the AvFL (just so I could get a fix of Aussie Rules), but then thought, it is AvFL after all, so didn't bother.
Eurosport does a 1 hour AFL show, only one game, it used to be a round up, but the problem with Eurosport is that the AFL show isn't on at the same time or even same day, each week so you have to trawl to find it.

Am thinking about signing up for it after i found that they have all the early rounds of the FA Cup on it.
Think its time for Foxtel to bite the bullet and bring back the footy channel.
Soccer 24/7 in summer and AFL, NRL and Union in winter
