The Footy Show

The Footy Show begins tonight and i am going to watch the first one and see how it pans out.

Last season i was a bit disappointed because they didn't take the show seriously enough and every second sentence was a joke.

Hopefully this season will be a bit more interesting!

Does anyone know if John "Sammy" Newman is appearing on the show? i wouldn't think so but who knows with that guy!

I know the Footy Show is basically a light entertainment/variety show now as they spent all of 20 seconds on the NAB cup GF or do the Victorians (even though St Kilda won) think that little of the pre-season comp.

I can't stand Kiss, what a lame band.

Some 1970's bands do reunion tours that are classy: ie Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd. Kiss = [-X

Kiss appeared parodies of their former selves.

Don't let Southee hear you say that. He worships them!

Must admit they were pretty terrible. Would still love to see them live on a real concert stage though...

Kiss are playing @ the moment and certainly sound a lot better than Thursday night. :supz:
I live only 5 mins. away from the Grand Prix track so it beats paying for it.

At least the original members are there for the die hards I guess.

Always wanted to see Deep Purple live but without Blackmore for years and more recently no Jon Lord or Paice I'd rather buy the old DVD's of them.

Kiss? Pretty sure only 2 original members. Ace quit when they all should have (the farewell tour) and god knows who the drummer is. Still, I'm no Kiss expert...could be totally wrong.

Don't forget, Ian Gillan was the 1st member to leave and for me they were never the same from then. Coverdale was a 2nd rate substiture IMO.
