What's your best ever comedy series?

Apologies if this has been done in the past (couldn't find it if it has)...

Mine's a real toss up between Fawlty Towers and The Office.

Thinking back over the great FT episodes like "The Germans", "Waldorf Salad" & "The Builders" I'd have to say Fawlty Towers was 10/10 pure genius though and gets my vote... Come to think of it, I don't think there was a single weak episode out of the two seasons.

The yanks just don't seem to be able to produce a series of similar quality IMHO...

Got it in one I reckon Clarrie. Basil and his lot were simply sensational, comedy perfection.
