Even with BitTorrent it's still as frustrating as hell. Lots of red herrings going nowhere, amazing revelations glossed over the next week. I dunno if any of you guys have heard the Lost podcast which they put out every week, but they pretty much admit to making it up as they go which explains why it's not always on every week.

PS I'm finding episode 13 very slow to download compared to usual. What about you?

I had no probs with it, I haven't watched it yet but it motored along at the usual 150k/s that I get.
I got it from torrentleech.org

And just on torrents and overseas shows, I was a big Battlestar Galactica fan in the late 70s, got them all on DVD.
When the new series started I didn't know how to take it, enjoyed it for a while but then lost touch.
Luckily a mate gave me the full first series on DVD and I caught up on them and enjoyed them.

BUT then when Series 2 started in America I started watching them religiously and it is an absolutely awesome series, Series 2 is miles and miles ahead of Series 1, I'm not sure if it will get a screen in Australia but I couldn't recommend it more highly, great storylines especially when the Pegasus enters the scene and edge of the seat stuff. Slows down again around Episode 12 in the 2nd series but still very good for sci fi fans like myself to enjoy.

I didn't really know what I was doing and don't look forward to setting it up again but I just followed instructions at http://www.whirlpool.net.au/ for my ISP.
On torrentleech I only have a couple of slots as my share ratio is only just over 50% but I haven't found that a hinderance, seem to get the same speeds as when I had unlimited clots.

Whats your connection speed?

1500 is my speed. I've read heaps of instructions, tried following them but can't crack it. It should be racing but I've never seen DL speeds like that! Sometimes on a Lost torrent I get around the 50KB mark but this time I couldn't get the torrent to work at all (using TorrentSpy) and ended up using Limewire with a pissy 5-25KB DL speed. Extra pissed off cos I DLd a fake file first which was an old episode mislabelled.

Could you PM me another invite for Torrent Leach? - I reakon they have closed my account through inactivity. Cheers :)

BG is one of the best shows going around full stop.
Gritty and tough, in the same class as Babylon 5 for me.

Anyone else getting the new season of '24'?
Seen 7 eps so far and it's as good as ever.

Any of you BitTorrenters know why some things (like Lost for eg) are out of video/audio synch when you download them? I can usually remedy it when watching on my PC but if I burn them to DVD they're unwatchable. Any solutions?

Im not sure what you're playing them on but I play them on a media player on a PS2, only occasionally get those problems and if I change the settings in the media player from top quality to medium or something like that it works fine usually.
If you're using a PS2 or an X box try a different media player or different settings, if you're using a DVD player which is DivX/Xvid enabled then your'e stuffed unless you can get a firmware upgrade of some sort.
