Call this late last night on 7TWO.

Gets better with every viewing.

Tom Hanks and Paul Newman in top form...

One of the most underrated movies IMHO

Cop Land

Tight and tense drama.

Stallone holds his own in a great ensemble cast that includes Robert DeNiro, Harvey Keitel, Ray Liotta and Annabella Sciorra.

Sly does the 'everyman' pretty well and should've made more films like this between his big, dumb action movies and roman numeral sequels...

Goodfellas

Bravura filmmaking.

Probably the 'flashiest' film ever made, yet perfect for the film's content and style.

Never see a better use of rock music.

Loving this 'Scorsese Classics' retrospective.

They've saved the best for last...

Good movie, but I would not let my daughter say those words that the girl in the movie did at the same age.

Beneath Hill 60

Pretty average.

Doesn't soar as much as the annoying score wants it to.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Not for everybody, (150+ minutes, subtitles, very very dark/confronting), but I loved it.

Harry Brown, Michael Caine is exceptional. A bleak and violent look at the underclass in Britain but is well above average in that over done genre of the vigilante.
