After the first 4 or 5 episodes i think the lack of Trevor has made the show a bit funnier, I am actually looking forward to watching it each week for the first time in years...dunno what that says about me!! and just to be different I like James, used to enjoy his work on the radio and think he and Garry work quite well together now.
Trust the process.

Accidentally flicked the channel to 9 last night and caught about 10 mins of the show. The first I've seen of the show in many years and 10 mins I won't be getting back. Even worse than it used to be if that's at all possible.

Still good value IMHO and as much as some may dislike Newman, with departures of McGuire and Marmalade it wouldn't be worth going on with without him.

I must be easily amused cos i enjoyed it too, the rip off of the CGU ad with Sam playing Barry Hall was very funny aswell.

i think there was a period when the show went off the boil, but ive enjoyed it this year and was starting to get back into it last year.

I do think not having Trev there has helped the show, he was good in the early days but really did fall away quite considerably towards the end
