The first 4 series of scrubs always had me laughing but then it seems like they must have changed writers or something as it went to the very american way of comedy for the last few.

Anything done by D-Gen / Working dog is a must see (or read in regards to Molvania, Phaic Tan & Warwick Todd)

The Office would have to be my all time Fav tho. Does anyone know what Ricky Gervais is working on now? i thought i heard he might be doing more episodes of Extras?

Also is Little Britain the most overrated comedy show of all time?

One I forgot that I haven't seen on anyone's list is "Married With Children".
That was a great show, especially in its first season. After that I think it was picked up by a network that "mainstreamed" it. It was still good after the change though.
I also liked the Yank show "It's Your Move" that has the same guy in it from "Arrested Development" (can't remember his name, but he is also the real life brother of "Malorie" from "Family Ties".) "It's Your Move" lasted only one season, and was never re-run to my knowledge, but it was about a smart kid trying his best to disrupt the relationship between his single mum and her boyfriend (boyfriend was played by the same guy who played the Bundy's next door neighbour in the early episodes of "Married With Children".)
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Trailer Park Boys
daylight
Seinfeld
probably more daylight
I find it hard to watch repeats of any other comedy series maybe MASH.
Used to love pommy shows as a kid but most bore me now.
Enjoed The Office and Red Dwarf but cant stand repeats of them.
IT crew is great and Young Ones was good in its time.
Bottom of the list is Friends, unfortunately Mrs Wedge likes Friends. Drives me insane.

Yeah, Friends would have to be the most over rated comedy of all time. Its basically just a group of people who say really stupid things, cringeworthy really.

Friends is popular because of the people playing the characters. The casting, even though I hate the show, was brilliant. That is what made it so big.

A joke from a friend is always funnier than a stranger saying it - so the average jokes in Friends were funny to the fans.

Thank you Glenelg Magpie, that's the guy.

Just remembered Night Court.
Murphy Brown sometimes used to crack me up big time. My favourite was the "Men's Support Group" episode, where blokes would sit around in a cirlce beating drums while one bloke in the middle would be crying his eyes out talking about his problems.

Nice one I used to love that show - Jason Bateman was a little punk who (mentally) terrorised his neighbour(?), who I think was Al's neighbour in Married with Children.

A recent show I absolutely love but forgot to mention is Peep Show - brilliant!

Just watched an old episode of The Liver Birds. Dated but funny though. Molly Sugden was Sally's mum in the show and was also Mrs Slocombe in Are you being served, another very funny show back in the 70's.
