If you need a film to take partner too - Julia and Julie. She loved it and I thought it was quite good.
Roger Woodcock -- 602 goals from a forward flank makes you a legend.

Just wondering if it's any good...it seems to have been sponsoring almost every tv show on one channel here and the trailer looks interesting...got the impression it's kinda Minority Report meets The Matrix meets I Robot.

JAS

OK if nobody's going to see Bruce how about Heath Ledgers last film...The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassis (sp)...I believe that opens around the planet this weeken (just not here  )

JAS

I saw Surrogates and liked it. Reminded me more of Blade Runner with people using robots to live their lives, rather than actually living them

Thanks for that Roger...sounds like my kinda thing...another for the Amazon wish list :D

Bad Education - Try picking the twists. Almodovar gets better with age.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - Starts off promising before degenerating into one long, boring action sequence. What happened to all the spook stuff early on? Harrison Ford look tired throughout the whole tiresome ordeal.

Salesman - The Mayseles brothers groundbreaking documentary masterpiece.

Small Faces - Up and down Glasgow coming-of-age story.

I don't go see a movie anymore unless there's puppet sex.

Look forward to Goats, which is getting early Oscar buzz.

Good to see Clooney using his star power to make some movies with smarts...

I don't mind puppet sex in a film as long as it not gratuitous

I don't go to the cinema...our local is an old fashioned, uncomfortable dive (they still have the old wooden fold-down seating)...but I think this one will go straight to my Amazon wish list once it's on there.

Clooney is great at the serious stuff, Syriana was superb, but he's also fantastic at comedy, Oh Brother Where Art Thou is one of the funniest films ever, so I've got high hopes for this. Rest of the cast aren't too bad either and the director also did True Lies, Enemy of the State and Good night and Good Luck.

I don't know if it's just me, but I can watch that over and over again and I piss myself each time. Watched it for the first time on the Comedy Channel around 5 years ago and had to go out and buy the DVD straght away. It's a classic.

I finally watched The Jerk last night BC and I have to say..... what a complete waste of my time. That moofie was absolute tripe. I want my $5 back for my 5 weekly moofies and an hour and a half of my life back.
