They seem a lot better group than LY. Things might fizzle a bit once the relationship is revealed on Sunday, but it's been a good start. The Morman girl is extremely annoying. Stupid, addictive show

Well-backed Kate new BB eviction favourite!

Single, proud and argumentative to the end, 25-year-old lawyer Kate has been backed into an even money favourite ($2.00) on Centrebet to be the first housemate evicted in Big Brother 2007!

Kate’s opening eviction price of $4.50 has tumbled in after several bets, including one of $500.00, forcing rival blond housemate Rebecca to drift from an opening $3.75 to $5.00!

“She might love a debate, but Kate’s popularity is seemingly hanging by a thread,” Centrebet’s media director Neil Evans said. “Apart from a bit of money for TJ ($15.00), she’s the only one they are backing to be shown the Big Brother door!

“It’s a blond war – not one other housemate is in single figures on our market.”

Thomas remains Centrebet’s well-backed $7.00 favourite to win Big Brother, but equal second favourite Jamie (8.00) is clearly the best-backed housemate to finish on top.

Not a bad pick either mate, I was thinking of having a flutter on that also.

Neither Kate or TJ will last long (Thank ****), and hopefully that chick in the white room that kept howling last night doesn't even make it into the house!

They won't last too long, every couple in there generally becomes a bit more distant from the rest of the group until they get split up ... Hayley will probably get the ass soon because of it, and then Andrew will be free from nominations for a bit because of the sympathy factor.

Anyone see how determined Jamie look on Friday night games LOL??

3-way odds-on war to beat BB double eviction!

A barmaid who thought Prince Charles was the late Princess Diana’s brother, a club co-ordinator (whatever that is) who dabbles in magic, and an electrical designer (whatever that is) with a good dose of vanity are fighting a three-way betting war on Centrebet to survive May 13’s double eviction night on Big Brother!

Darwin-born TJ, born on the same day as the Princess of Wales, is $1.15 to go, playful Zoran is $1.75, and Bodie, who confesses to modelling underwear, is $1.40 to be shown the door, leaving Joel, a restaurant manager with a sense of humour, as the $4.00 outsider to avoid the axe!

“The eyes have it that two out of TJ, Bodie and Zoran will be leaving,” Centrebet’s Neil Evans said.
“In fact, TJ has done herself no favours, she’s now the $51.00 outsider, and looks in hot water, so Bodie and Zoran will need eyes in the back of their head to also avoid Big Brother’s exit speech.”

Andrew remains Centrebet’s $5.50 favourite ahead of Thomas ($6.50) and Hayley ($8.00), while Aleisha has firmed in to $9.00 (from $12.00), and Billy $13.00 (from $19.00)!

Meanwhile, Melbourne radio host Jo Stanley is the best supported in early Centrebet action for It Takes Two, starting tonight. Stanley, recovering from a bout of laryngitis, remains a $6.00 chance, behind early favourite Home & Away’s Bobby Morley ($4.00)!

BIG BROTHER – DOUBLE EVICTION (MAY 13)

$1.15 TJ
$1.40 Bodie
$1.75 Zoran
$4.00 Joel

TO WIN BIG BROTHER

$5.50 Andrew
$6.50 Thomas
$8.00 Hayley
$9.00 Aleisha
$10.00 Travis
$12.00 Susannah
$12.00 Jamie
$13.00 Billy
$15.00 Joel
$15.00 Demet
$26.00 Rebecca
$29.00 Bodie
$34.00 Zoran
$34.00 Emma
$51.00 TJ

AUSTRALIAN IT TAKES TWO

$4.00 Bobby Morley
$4.50 Julia Zemiro
$5.50 Jolene Anderson
$6.00 Jo Stanley
$10.00 Lochie Daddo
$10.00 Daniel Kowalski
$11.00 Ernie Dingo
$13.00 Russell Gilbert
$16.00 Krystal Forscutt
$21.00 Mimi Macpherson

I reckon Joel is a good bet based on those odds

I think Thomas is holding in some issues/anger and will burst at some point - he can be too understanding to the point of it seeming false at times

I love big brother

Postby Lunchcutter » Wed May 16, 2007 11:39 am

have even gone to the finale in 2005 (when the twins david and greg won!) my thoughts on this year (and yes believe it or not i DO in fact have a life just am interested in human behaviour especially when put under extreme pressure ie away from comfort zone, sleep deprivation, disgustiing vegan diet etc)

my thoughts on this years remaining housemates

Thomas - like his laid back style - contrary to what his other hm's are saying i like his non confrontational personality
Jamie - up him self little nerd... and definitely is giving me the shits this week with his nazi attitude over the shopper/chef role
Nick - seems outspoken if not a little over sensitive for my liking
Andrew - very strong (liked his debate with Demet he definitely won) also like to see the genuine affection he shows his g/f)
Zoran - kinda like his boof headedness.... probably comes off quite agressive and argumentative however i really think he is being "real" and liked his attitude last night when he was bagged for his bathroom cleaning efforts (after demet lied to him about how big brother found out) he said thanks for telling me, im not real good at this - he then preceeded to clean the bathroom again thoroughly from top to bottom which took him another hour
Billy - like his boyish charm and the fact he doesnt seem afraid to speak his mind - wish he would see Emma for what she is though
Joel - seems genuinely funny and even though plays the clown i think he is probably very smart.. did not like the way he was stuffing up the counting sheep task last night but not wanting to join the group and just wanting to crash on the couch and then sooked when the other boys threated to throw him in the pool
Travis - I reckon travis could be winner of bb 2007 he seems like a real likeable type of bloke the quintissential (sp) aussie bloke
Hayley - pees me off with her pushiness at times.. think she can be very persuasive and minipulative and did not appreciate the witch hunt that was the bodie situation
Emma - nasty cow. complains about everyone talking behind her back but then is guilty of doing the same and much more frequent that the other hm's all right for some but not others... she is a judgemental person and the stealing food thing is wrong imo
Aleisha - love her freshness but am getting a little tired of her naitivity ( i know she cant help it but honestly "what does vocabluary mean" honestly
Rebecca - again very naive and over analyses everything boooooo "why wont so and so talk to me" "i havent done anything to them ...."
Sussanah - my favourite housmate this year... she genuinely seems like a nice girl.. and i think the fact she doesnt get too involved with ongoing conflict is that she is too smart for that... i liked how her first night she broke down and showed her vulnerable side and how she is miserable with some of the choices she has made in life... does come across as a little "princessy" but good on her why not?
Demet - least fave hm - again appears naive in the fact that she can not be trusted with confidential information... (how old is she???) i think she is a trouble maker and a hypocrite - surely she is not a practicing muslim or are they permitted to show their body ie lower back whilst belly dancing or show their breasts to males (this is what she did last night in the bathroom)...
the above is just my personal opinion on the hm's left in the house at the moment and in closing just for those who continually judge others about their penchant to watch BB remember who are you to judge asshat
RIP my DH 1964 - 2009 - You were one of the best and I miss you
