Spain gets 4 votes from Macedonia, leaving Switzerland as the sole country on the dreaded 0 votes

This has been the tightest Eurovision contest in awhile

And Slovakia gives 4 points to Switzerland, followed by 10 points from the UK no one gets 0 votes this year.

Surprisingly the UK has given 12 points to Ireland

Will say, a worthy winner.
Not my type of music but it suits this comp.

i managed to watch the semi final on sat night

im not sure how the irish lads got in????/

my highlight was the twins from slovakia, cant believe they didnt make the final

Have to say my favourite won - have been singing it since hearing it on the semi final show. Classy.

Other faves were Lena (grrrrrrrr...), Jedward, Bosnia, Georgia, Hungary and little Paradise Oskar

IIRC it was also his birthday on or around the night he won...loved that song but then I also loved the Lordi one

This year was the first year I've ever missed watching Eurovision but being at Prospect to see the boys win instead more than makes up for it
