1. Kenny Everitt Show
2. The Goodies
3. Are you Being Served?
4. Love Thy Neighbour (I'll av arf!)
5. The Good Life

I hope you guys will get this one...a new show called Total Wipeout...think It's A Knockout without the costumes. The obstacles aren't bad, the contestants are either terminally stupid or have that kind of arrogant over-confidence you love to see knocked down

What makes this so good though is Richard 'Hamster' Hammonds commentary and presenting style...every week I end up laughing til my stomach hurts...enjoy...

Don't know if you've heard...but for all you fans of The Bill...

Never watch it but looks like they might be wanting to have a few edgier storylines or introduce some realistic dialogue or something.

Most of my favourites have been mentioned. My earliest fond memory of British TV
came in 1961. I don't think anyone has mentioned 'The Rag Trade' with the late Reg Varney.
OK hands up if you're old enough to remember it !
:-bd
'The Rag Trade' was a very popular BBC sitcom scripted by Ronald Wolfe and Ronald Chesney, it was set in the 'Fenner Fashions' workshop. Peter Jones played the put-upon manager 'Harold Fenner', the comedy revolves around conflict between 'Fenner' and his workers, particularly the union shop-steward 'Paddy' {played joyously to the hilt by Miriam Karlin}, who used any excuse to blow her whistle and bellow her catchphrase ''Everybody Out'', also stuck in the middle was 'Reg' {played by veteran actor Reg Varney, soon to be starring in Wolfe and Chesney's 'On The Buses'}, who done his best to keep the peace with less than successful results.

'The Rag Trade' was one of the most popular sitcoms of the early 1960's, episodes would regularly appear in the national ratings top ten however like most British sitcoms, the writers saw fit to revive 'The Rag Trade' in 1977 for LWT for two series, with less than pleasing results, this later led to 'Fenner Fashions' closing down for good.
