As disgusting as it gets. These people actually believe what they say and that is frightening. Makes you feel sick really.

Complete disgrace I agree

Worst thing is the religious right is such a strong voting block in the US its a real worry

The thing is I don't recall ever seeing the phrase "God hates Fags" in the bible.

The trouble with the "Silent Moral Majority" is that they are neither silent, moral or the majority.

SMS doing the rounds:

Heath Ledger died of alcoholic poison, Apparently he swallowed one too many cowboys.

My favourite movie with him was The Patriot alongside Mel Gibson.
The best Ned Kelly movie IMO was one with John Jarrat as Ned. Think it was a 3 part mini-series.

Reports say his room was strewn with pills, and his death may have been accidental. This is probably a naive thing to say but I didn't picture him as a drug taker...

Always came over in his interviews as whacked as Daniel Johns.

what is it with everyone, as soon as someone dies they become sacred!?

crush, there is an old saying 'never speak ill of the dead'

theres another old saying, mainly said by me....5 cents....

i agree he was a great actor etc died young its a shame, left behind a young child, even bigger shame. but does everyone have their errs forgiven cause theyve failed to exist? does michael jackson suddenly become this angel who only devoted his life to music and not touching up little kids?
when i become an ex crushinator i dont expect anyone to say he was a great bloke who did no wrong. all i want is to be remembered for what i did, good bad and indifferent, cause thats what makes me the person i am.

Some may call it respect, SS.

Respect??
In fairness, there's always going to be instant criticism on exactly what happened, we're all wondering what happened, not just about how a great actor died early.
The media didn't just run with OMG, what a great actor, the details surrounding the whole thing are suspicious.
Whether you respect the man or not.
It's not disrespectful.
Tragedy, granted, but it's suspect.

Yes it is, but bad deeds committed by someone who led a generally good life don't need to be dragged up in the first day after he died.

Only wish everytime a poor child dies of childhood cancer it is all over the front pages of the papers. This man lived a life most of us will never get. Many more people deserve the attention not just actors.

The front page of the paper is (unfortunately) for what people what to read about.. and (again unfortunately) that isn't what they want to read about. Can't blame the news/media for not giving it exposure, when the people don't want it to have the exposure.

Newsworthy things are things that touch/connect/whatever with the most amount of people. Famous people do that.

Isn't what I agree with, but it's reality.

Thanks for your support. Going thru something like this and seeing it first hand really wakes you up to what is important in this world. To think that all a celb has to do is die and is made out to be a hero really annoys me.
