Yep, Peppa Pig a huge hit for Miss 2.5. Recorded Shrek and Shrek 2 off the TV and that has been watched (in 15 minute bursts) about 100 times. Dora popular too as is Bananas in Pyjamas and Play School.

In The Night Garden was her favourite from the start along with Giggle and Hoot, but she doesn't like Iggle Piggle any more. She also tells me she doesn't like Ha Ha Hairies. I'm sure she had a little crush on Jason Mason, but doesn't like Grandpa In My Pocket any more neither.

ABC2 and the IPad a godsend.

All kids' show promoters have their snouts in the trough. They know the parents are under pressure from their kids to go to these things and then they slog $10 for a drink that cost 20c to make when you get there.

In the Night Garden -The makers of this show are on some serious drugs. Stronger stuff than the Beatles were when they came up with "I am the Walrus".

In The Night Garden is freaking stupid. As are the Telletubbies.
I love 'Food and Stuff'. It's where I buy all of my food. And most of my stuff.

You know you've seen too much when you know what the little blue family are called (I know but I'll wait til one of you fellow suffering parents post it).

Master G (3) is graduating from a few ABC2 shows now. Currently loves Toby's Travelling Circus. Past faves were Gabba Gabba, Octonauts and Peppa.

Just quietly, Peppa Pig merch simply walks out the door. If I owned a store I know what I'd be stocking.

My five year old daughter is just starting to move from ABC 2 to ABC 3.
She loves watching Deadly 60 at 6.30.
Thankfully, my near three-year-old also enjoys it.
No more Ninky Nonk or Pinky Ponk nonsense for me.
Must admit, it will be a sad day when no-one wants to watch Play School any more - Justine Clark =P~
