GOTTA LOVE IT 7’s David Koch has the most punchable face on Australian television.

The Sunrise co-host polled 6.8% of the vote in an exhaustive online survey, edging out rival breakfast host and Gold Logie winner Karl Stefanovic (4.7%) to win the coveted Daryl P. Somers Perpetual Trophy.

Deal or No Deal presenter Andrew O’Keefe and X-Factor judge Kyle Sandilands tied for third with 3.7%.

For the ladies, 2.1% of voters wanted to clock A Current Affair host Tracy Grimshaw, good enough for equal eighth overall.

The commercial networks dominated voting with an incredible ninety (of 91) nominations coming from 7, 9 and 10.

These included hosts, newsreaders, infomercial presenters, sports commentators, reality show judges, (alleged) comedians, cooks, doctors, vets, the voiceover guy from The Block, those annoying wankers from the Coles ad, “the guy who was rooting Delta Goodrem” and Dr. Chris Brown’s hair.

Sooky-sooky la-la John Safran scored the only nomination from the public broadcasters.

Probably because nobody watches that crap.

One of the greatest mysteries in history of Australian TV must be how the hell this unfunny pratt got a second series on the ABC after the car wreck that was his first. Then again quality control seems a thing of the past at the ABC.
