That Brenda chick got voted out last night. She seemed really stuck up but geez she's easy on the optic nerve.

History shows, that those who are arrogant and who publicly promote the fact that they are better, safe or a master tactician usually get voted out not long after..... one exception is Richard Hatch and Russell Hantz
With that... a slight deflection to the next topic!

having watched the final 9 recap last night, should Survivor show more of what happens around camp, rather then just the bitching and moaning and game playing..

Im a big fan of the Survivor concept as i truly believe it is a true test of will to overcome adversity but the show has seemed to lack content this time around and we are yet to see those truely gut wrenching challenges that make your eyes water.

We've just finished watching Survivor Cook Islands which we missed the first time around.

A couple of things are clear - most obviously there must have been a huge budget cut since those days - the challenges were extreme and the sets gargantuan in comparison to the lameness of today. I just watched the latest Nicaragua ep which demonstrates my theory in spades.

I really enjoyed the water component which has been missing from recent Survivors. At the Cook Islands they feasted every night on octopus, plentiful fish caught with a spear gun, coconuts etc. All they've been able to catch at Nicaragua have been a couple of measly fish - the rest they've had to rely on being given, rice and a chicken being pretty much it.

They've really stuffed up where the current Survivor is being staged - it's a quagmire with barely a beach to speak of. I think these guys have had it as hard as any season I can think of.

BTW, I can't believe Ozzy didn't win Cook Islands - he was possibly the best player I've ever seen...

Cook Islands was one of the best series I reckon, although Ozzy was never going to win due to him being so competitive and "able". He had a target on his back the whole way. The kid can sure climb a coconut tree though! And swim! And spearfish and pretty much do it all!

Agreed, it was a great, really competitive series. Some really likeable people which you'd think would be boring but it wasn't. This was the one where teams were sorted according to race at the beginning which was very interesting. Most people would remember Parvady, Candace and Jonathon I guess. Ozzy won just about every challenge towards the end and played a very honest, pure game. He was beaten by a guy who was also nice and reasonably deserving - except for the fact he had the luxury of an immunity idol in his back pocket almost the whole series. And the idol played differently back then, being a much bigger advantage. So I was shocked Ozzy lost - by one vote!

I knew there had to be some reason why they showed that stupid 'revision' episode last week. Because two people walked out this week and the show is made for one evictee per week.

In Survivor's 10-year history, only six castaways have ever willingly walked away from their chance at the million dollar grand prize by quitting the game including Jenna Morasca, million dollar winner of Season 6: Amazon

Dan will make it to the final 3 because he cant win the challenges and i think the perception is that because he has been such a weak player and is rich in assets in his home life that he wont get votes for the million dollars. I hope that smug bi sexual stick man doesnt win. Sash shits me too tears
