Definitely not. It clashes with repeats of "Mother and Son" on 7Two :)

Have to admit I've lost a bit of interest in the current Home and Away (especially the teenage and Martha storylines) yet I'm now taping episodes of the early years of Home and Away on 7Two (give me Tom, Pippa, Bobby and Celia over Martha, Aden, Geoff and Ruby). Having said that, I might start watching it again when Marilyn comes back.

So they originally stuffed the script...then had to do flashbacks to fix everything? Good work writers...pat on the back :D

Sometimes I watch Home and Away but it only drills into me how tame Neighbours is by comparison even when they try so hard to be controversial.

Another thing I noticed about Neighbours is - remember when Dan suddenly stopped being nice and turned into a complete bastard towards Libby? He also stopped wearing his stupid V-neck powder blue jumper and started wearing shirts WITH THE SLEEVES ROLLED UP *gasp* because he was a HARD CASE. But after he felt guilty about the Steph thing the jumper made a comeback.
Hey Goose, ya big stud! Take me to bed or lose me for ever.

The storyline really came from nowhere too. Had always been getting along very nicely and one day, all that began (although when Sam came back into Dan's life, I guess that sowed some seeds). Too quick a development.

Have noticed this year that Jane Hall has largely been relegated to the last spot in the credits. Not sure if this is paving the way for her leaving, although see that Brett Tucker (Dan) is also in that last clip of characters also - easy for the producers to ditch that montage quickly if a few leave at once.

It is certainly amazing how soapy writers can dramatically change the personality of a character. I guess they saw the departure of Brett Tucker from the show as a good excuse to bring a bit of drama into it.

For those that have followed Aussie dramas since the 1980's, this is an interesting clip from the Henderson Kids, especially given that 2 of these actors are now married on screen in Neighbours.

Home and Away has been declining for the past 12-18 months. In 3 episodes this year it has gone from bordeline poor to downright ridiculous!

Also, can we have a year where Martha's lover isn't in danger of their life!
