Very good comeback from the boys last night ... much better when they're taking the piss out of those in Canberra.

I agree thought that was easily the best of the three episodes so far. Loved the small talk segment, they need to make that a regular segment.

I'm actually surprised they came back with a third series of The War given they usually come up with a new show after 1-2 series.

The Election Chaser (2001)
CNNNN (2002/03)
The Chaser Decides (2004,2007-2 episodes)
Chaser News Alert (2005)
The Chaser's War On Everything (2006/07,2009)

ABC should just give Media Watch another fifteen minutes.

Smarter, cheaper and more entertaining.

Funnier, too...

The Hamster Wheel made its debut last night.

Will be interested to hear the views on it from those that watched.

They get more smug, glib and unfunny with each new show...

Some funny bits, but pretty weak overall.

Perfect for the ABC, as they don't actually have a comedy department but a light entertainment department.
In the words of Tony Martin "This is light entertainment and entertain you lightly we shall."
"They got Burton suits, ha, you think it's funny, turning rebellion into money"
