Hope you have all seen the fantastic ABC TV show "Frontline", created by the ex D-Generation/Late Show/The Castle/The Panel crew. A fantastic send up of all those dodgy current affairs shows. Series One is available on DVD, definitely worth buying.

Was that the story on 60 minutes????

I saw that. Talk about leigh Mcluskey pissing us all off... Liz Hayes is far worse. She had a great view while doing this story, standing on her moral highground!!!
She wouldn't let the women speak, without calling her a pedophille or a criminal. Some interviewers need to shut up sometimes and let the people speak.

Dude, aren't we due for a story about how some "heartless thieves" have stolen everything from some poor sap who has nothing and now they will have miserable Christmas unless we all dig deep? LEIGH: "Thanks to the generosity of the [insert suburb] community, little Johnny will get a visit from Santa after all."

Oh, then there's the "How to feed a family of four a great three course Christmas dinner for just $3.25 per serve."

And how could I forget the obligitory story about how a state school won't let the kids make anything Christmassy because it might offend the Muslim/Hindu/Jewish students.

This absolute gem was aired on Wednesday, January 4, 2006.

Please folks, make sure that you are sitting down (or at least mildly sedated) as the following revolutionary weight loss ideas will blow your mind:

1. Eat more fruit and veg.
2. Eat less fast food.
3. Do more exercise.

Thank goodness these "way out" suggestions were delivered to the viewer by a well dressed nutritionist or I wouldn't have believed them. Who woulda thought that eating fewer calories and doing more exercise would result in weight loss?

Here are some suggestions for future TT segments:

"Not dying scientifically proven to extend life expectancy."
"Avoid speeding fines by driving within the prescribed speed limit."
"Save money by assuming that emails from Nigerian royalty promising $US25,000,000 may be fraudulent."
"Prevent medical disasters by assuming that going to Thailand for cheap cosmetic surgery may result in hideous, permanent disfigurment."

Thank you for the no-brainers TT!

Not to mention the lamest of lame stories i saw tonight(Australia Day) about how our aussie accent is changing.
Anyone see it??

This story was a bull5hit story with no point, which was obviously thought up and slapped together at about 4pm that day.

Just when i think today tonight can't get any worse.. they take it to a new level.

Any hopes Tracey Grimshaw might turn it around have evaporated. Anyone see the Easter bunny being interviewed tonight?

Hey Bay Boy,

What about "she's a 40 year old mum with 5 kids to five fathers who is ripping off Centrelink and has a house full of cats, mountains of rubbish in the back yard, she's in dispute with the local council over the brothel she's running......how does she keep her

So clearly she is from Elizabeth then? or maybe Huntfield Heights?

Love it Gilly!!!

She's a 40 year old mum with a gambling problem and 5 kids to five fathers who won't pay their child support, she's taken all that her 2 ex-husbands had, and now she is ripping off Centrelink and has a house full of cats that live in their on faeces, there's mountains of rubbish in the backyard, she's in dispute with the local council over the brothel she's running, the kids are on the street running amok until 5 in the morning; BUT there's a convicted paedophile that's just been released and moved in down the street - So why is SHE being evicted, how does she keep her trim figure, does she think that her children are obese, how does she cope with her 7 year old who has cerebral palsy and what brand of washing powder does she use?

Gold!

However, the important issues are:

[a] does she use a brand name or generic;
[b] did she buy it from a supermarket, independent grocer or online;
[c] does that particular washing powder attract fuel discount loyalty points;
[d] does it remove nasty cat faeces stains from woollens and synthetics?
