Was good to see Joffrey have a dummy spit. Haven't had many moments to cheer in this series, but **** I'll be happy when he cops it.

Really like Davos as a character, which means he'll probably get his head chopped off in the next series.

Halfway through the second book now. At this rate I'll be into new territory by next week [-o<

Liked the final episode of GoT, but the ending with Daenerys was pretty shite. Would have much preferred to have seen one of the twists (and believe me there will be some good ones) as an explosive ending to keep people hanging...

Season 1 ended with the Dragons reveal
Season 2 ended with the White Walkers reveal
Season 3 ended with a crowd surf...

Do you actually like them? Or is it just the excitement of finding something new?

I thought the books we're pretty ordinary compared to the show...

It's hard to say, as I already know what's going to happen.

I like the finer detail of the books and reliving certain events. Given I've read over a thousand pages in five days, I must be enjoying them a little!

Anyone been watching True Blood? The missus is right into it but to me, it's just Twilight with sex scenes. Lame vampire crud.

My wife is into it too. I can't get into anything with vampires, zombies or aliens, as that shit has been done to death.

Not sure, I've never seen any of the Twilight movies .. Im not sure they would be as violent or funny and I don't think Kristen Stewart ever shows her bits off.

And .. It doesn't have Vinny from Home and Away ..

Err, unless Sally or Leah is on there getting nailed by Vinny I want no part of that show.

Trueblood is absolutely terrible. Woeful acting, laughable scripts, no storyline, plot holes...

and yet I watched the first three seasons back to back over about a week long period!

Very addictive even though its terrible.

What was addictive about it? I turned it off last night and the missus nearly started crying.

The books are triffic.
I'm up to the 5th one at the moment. Some great reading ahead for you.

They do manage to mix in a fair bit of mystery in there, so you sort of want to find out "who the killer is" or "what the new monster is".

Its very formulaic and straight forward but still, you kind of want to know.

Ten axes Reef Doctors after its disastrous pilot.

Can't think of another drama to be axed so quick.

Admittedly, it was the worst debut for a local drama ever: 357K viewers.

But even the legendary flop Arcade got more than one week.

New regime at Ten isn't mucking around...

Reef doctors looked horrible though. I had no desire to watch that at all.

didn't Doug Mulray host a show which was cut and never seen again after 20 minutes or something like that???
