I dont mind some, but never sit thru them when "live" on TV, always tape them and flick thru an hour ep in 15-20 mins once you get thru all the crap they repeat.

One thing that pisses me off with the Voice is the singers on their that are not amateurs, one was Delta's back up singer! Surely if their main income is music already they shouldnt be invovled.

What's sad is these so called talented people have it easy!!

Most of the bands I listen to did there dues by playing in a sweaty pub somewhere in suburbia to get noticed or signed.

Soft as butter these new artists on reality shows!!

Whilst I don't really disagree with some of the criticisms of the recent talent shows, I don't really see them as true "reality" shows ie. not in the same mould as Big Brother, The Block etc.

If its true that one of the singers on "The Voice" was known to Delta, then thats poor form and means the show now lacks integrity. No doubt Today Tonight will pick up on that if it hasn't already.

Anyway, as I mentioned I don't really see "talent" shows as true reality programs. We've had these talent shows on tv for as long as I can remember, whether it be New Faces, "Red Faces" on HHIS, or the rubbish like this on "Pot Luck"

Rumour is the judges on the voice hear the artist before they go on stage.... To get a heads up.

Like I said its only a rumour but I can see it happening

Saw the Sebastian saga live, both Delta and Seal turned around and Delta made this big play that she sort of knows this bloke through his brother. Seal just commented on his voice and how they could develop it further

In the end Sebastian chose Seal as he didn't want to take the easy way and actually try to extend his talent further. Delta cracked the shits big time and had to leave the stage a short time later.

I don't watch any of it but used to watch Biggest Loser a few years ago. Coming from a family of muso's I detest the 'image building' 'talent' shows such as Idol and their ilk. I watch Footy, Prisoner and History Channel and Crime and Investigaton channell and that's it.

Oh, and more Footy.
