I'll wait til they get to the finalists before i take much of an interest, the part that gets me with the auditions is that some of those people who try out obviously have friends and family who can't be honest with them and say they can't sing...they end up being made to look like fools on national TV.....there is a place for those people.....busking in the mall ;)
Trust the process.

They also have 'cool-spotters'.

B-)

Seen a few Sony A&R clowns on set.

All they do is stand behind the split second-guessing the director.

Usually they flex their muscle by demanding shots that had already been shot earlier in the day be re-shot, thus putting the already behind shoot even further behind.

Then they bitch about the shots that had to be dropped because the director had to re-shoot their shots, which of course, had already been shot.

The GZA's rhyme in 'Protect Ya Neck' is oh-so true...

"First of all, who's your A'n'R
A mountain climber who plays an electric guitar
But he don't the meaning of dope
Money's looking for a suit and tie rap that's cleaner than a bar of soap..."

Clueless.

Thought Jay Dee was a stretch better judge than Sandilands. Good semi final last night too.

He was good, better than I thought he might be O:)

I thought last night was probably the best semi final we've seen - looking at past years,
Going to be tough for those that miss out.

I just love Kate, the country girl.
So down to earth, honest, true blue Aussie,
And (I think) a very talented singer/entertainer.

Not sure what the 'voting' population are going to think though O:)

I think you are the voting population. So to speak.

I thought the country chick was no different to any other country singer I've seen but far less attractive.

thought the skinny young fella will win votes, the teacher would as well, and the ugly kiwi at the end has a great natural voice, but he seems like a dick.

LOL

I don't vote... so I'm not the voting population :D
I think only 16 to 20 year olds vote...lol.

So you're saying you think that the young kiwi guy, the talll skinny young fella or the teacher will go through then?

We'll see tonight I suppose O:)

With my theory on 16 to 20 year olds voting, I'd say yes that the tall skinny young kid will go through.

Hopefully we learn their names as we go along

Two of my favourites sing tonight O:)
Ashleigh and Nathan

I was thinking the job description might entail hiring bikini models and firing up the old VirSyn Cantor - WHAMMO instant pop star!

Would be a bit disappointed if Hayley doesn't get through to the top 12....a real x-factor to her that reminds me a lot of a young Pink

(no, I don't vote in it :) )

A MUM agree with u. think ashleigh n lauren were the best but nathan is the one to beat i think. I had a look at the odds and casey barnes was the favourite to win the entire thing, and i think he will need to get thru to the top 12 via the wildcard if he does that.
Last night i think Hayley was very unlucky not to go thru, massive potential and she was really good last night. I just cant see the country Kate winning it. Stan deserved his spot.
Cant wait to see Kim Cooper (young blonde hair girl) to sing. She is amazing to look at!

For the record i dont vote on the show, but if i think Kim is in danger of not getting thru i may vote once just so i can see her again ;)

Well tonight we see two of my favourites go through...
In Ashleigh and Nathan :-bd
That makes 3 out of the 4 for me...lol.

Now from tonight I am really hoping that Scott and Sabrina (Last two to perform) go through.
Thought they were the best performances by far !!

The first guy who sang, although quite good, reminded me of someone out of the brady bunch...lol.

O:)
