"Aussie Rules" - this was on SBS a week or two ago, I thought it was brilliant. It was however a bit odd seeing a footy team wearing black and white being called "The Bays" and playing at Prospect!

I instictively let out a cheer in Hoyts when I saw Kevin Harrington wearing the famous prison-bars.

Reminds me of another film Port's guernsey makes a cameo in...

STRUCK BY LIGHTNING (1991)

Starring Garry McDonald.

A great little film.

How about...

Starstruck (1982)
Careful...He Might Hear You (1983)
High Tide (1986)
Evil Angels (1989)
Spider and Rose (1992)
Angel Baby (1995)
The Interview (1998)

Looking forward to the upcoming FOOTY LEGENDS as well.

That film is impossible to find.

Been trying to track it down for the last couple of years.

The filmmakers are still acutely embarrassed by it - the good old 10BA era.

But is it really that bad?

Shitty film, but since you mention detection of SANFL guernseys in Aussie films, did you spot the Sturt guernsey in this one?

I ought to mention Kiss Or Kill in the same post, which featured some footage of Glenelg Oval 8)

Some great films there.
I am surprised that no one has mentioned "BABE" yet!
Classic story about a cute little pig who thinks he's a dog.
Then there is "Stone", an unintentionally funny film about a motorbike gang, featuring a cameo by Gary McDonald which allegedly caused 1970's theatre goers, accustomed to seeing him in his professional nerd character of "Norman Gunston" to break up into stiches when his scene appeared.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

What about Don's Party? Classic =)
Especially when the guy comes in with a huge box on his shoulder, puts it down, and there's one beer in there.

Idiot Box - Two hands... another two I love. Bad Boy Bubby was disturbing =)
Crackerjack and the Castle - excellent.
