Kiss? Pretty sure only 2 original members. Ace quit when they all should have (the farewell tour) and god knows who the drummer is. Still, I'm no Kiss expert...could be totally wrong.

Eric Singer(!) on the drums & Tommy Thayer on lead.

What are everyones thoughts on Sam Newman quitting the show indefently?

Sam supposedly quit because he his still getting over the operation but many believe he has been axed.

The incident with Caroline Wilson has been taken to far, Sam was only mucking around and Caroline took too much offence too the joke.

HOF as I understand it he was asked to take a "break" by the station because of a sponsor back-lash against Sam following the Caro thing.

Apparently there are figures which show that 40,000 women have stopped watching since the incident and 2 of the major station sponsors were threatening to walk.

Plus, allegedly there's been a couple of other incidents at Channel 9 which have got the female audience against them and the station wants to be seen to be making a stand this time.

I'd assume they'd bring him back before the finals the show would be cactus without him I would have thought? (I have long since stopped watching the show - I love footy but I can't stand that show)

Wilson's father was Richmond president during their power era of the late 60'- early 70's.
You would have thought that someone with an 'understanding' of football culture would
be a little more thick-skinned.
This whole fiasco is an indication of what a humourless society we have become.

didn't Wilson accept the apology of Newman the week after the incident and it was the thin skinned other females in footy circles who are the cry babies?

True, but she did initially say she was shocked, embarrassed etc..and she could have diffused the whole situation before it blew up like it has by laughing it off.
There is some ratbag out there, unconnected to this drama, who is suing 9,the Footy Show,Sam whoever, for 'emotional distress' WTF!

While I agree that the lawsuit itself seems a little over the top, the complainant is hardly unconnected - a Western Bulldogs board member.

Thats a pretty quick return, they said he would be returning later on in the year. I have actually enjoyed it more without him, Billy Brownless is a lot better.

Please do not come back Sam Newman.

Pretty average attempt at humour the when Newman was joking about richo doing drugs.

The funniest moment of the night was when richo said to Newman "good to see you back mate I thought you were gone for all money" with a straight face.. bought the house down..

You'd think it was past its use by date (and I do), but it still rates well enough to justify its existance.

I watched in back in the 90's but in recent years it's been pretty pathetic.

Hutchy looked like he was about to cry. Very funny. Now Sam's critics can see he teases bald people as well as women.

I thought Sam might get in trouble for saying the woman in the dodge ad with the sledgehammer was at an event for decoration. That's a fair comment because it's exactly what she's in the ad for.

JAMES BRAYSHAW

seriously, you are in charge of an AFL club and a co-host of the footy show, so when your club is involved in something - shannon grant - dont go all serious and not say f****ing nothing and just hope that it all blows over!!!!!

is it just me or does he get moody on that show, laughing some moments, and then other times its SERIOUS............FFS get it together or F***** off
