Oh yeah, watched Fair Game too with Sean Penn and Naomi Watts .. Both were excellent in it and I found it to be a fairly gripping thriller

Cars doesn't belong here.

But it's not bad enough to put in the worst thread.

Just "average".

Animation is typically Pixar spectacular.

But the hour or so between the races is just plain boring.

ZZZZZ...

Watched moneyball. Good story, but got a bit soft and long in the end.

Brave

Another great Pixar flick.

Billy Connolly as King Fergus might just be the the most pitch perfect voice-casting in an animated fillum...

Assassination of a High School President

Basically, Sam Spade as a high school journo.

Fun but typically indie self-conscious...

Kill The Irishman

Not a great flick, but not bad either .. Walken, D'Onofrio, Kilmer their usual excellent selves.

Thought Stevenson in the lead was OK .. The era was set well, and the (true based) story was entertaining enough, and Linda Cardellini and Laura Ramsey were at their reliable eye candy best!

Fair Game

Penn and Watts straight off the bat make this worth watching and they didn't disappoint on their usual lofty standard.

Based on the true story of a CIA counter proliferation agent being shafted by the Whitehouse when opposition to George Dubbya's WMD hunt get's in their way, it's a gripping story to see how things pan-out for the family and some of their highly dependant contacts in Iraq .. Also interesting to watch the Bureaucracy shift into overdrive.
