Horrible Bosses

Funny in spurts.

Some snappy dialogue.

But like so many comedies these days, pretty much just a 90 minute sketch...

Watched Office Space for the first time over the weekend .. Enjoyable enough I guess, although like many comedies they start well whilst laying down the foundation and introducing the characters, then stall a fair bit on the run home.

Also watched the Basketball Diaries again, which I'd seen before, but not for a long time .. Had forgotten how much of a quality film it is and how brilliant Di Caprio is in it.

One small disappointment was at the conclusion they failed to mention how the future was headed for his 3 compadres.

You must have been castrated to not have mentioned Jennifer Annistons performance. I want to be a dental assistant and be sexually abused by her :D

Has a real cult following for those whose working life reflects the "what the hell am I doing here?" office scenario depicted in the film.
The ending is a bit anticlimatic I suppose, but in the end they were basically saying: do something you can enjoy.

Change Up. Predictable is places with the old "I wish I had your life!" swap over but still managed to produce some serious belly laughs.

Justin Bateman, on the back of Horrible Bosses and this has had a little comeback to the movie scene with good efforts in both movies, playing similar characters in many respects.

3.5/5

Didn't mind "16 Blocks" with Bruce Willis last night.
Mos Def did a great job as supporting actor too.
Mind you, I thought it was made in the mid-90s. Turns out it was filmed in 2006. Lol

The Artist

Not usually one to make absolute statements BUT...

If you don't love this movie you don't love movies!

And should probably stick to Transformers sequels.

Second masterpiece this millenium.

Five. F@%king. Stars.

Everyone that watches it with their girlfriend is too scared to say they are bored and everyone else doesnt want to disagree with the experts. One of my douchebag mates posted on facebook 5 stars. When i asked him why? He said "because its really good"
Its OK and is enjoyable but it is predictable and highly over-rated.

Che-Part 1 & 2

Excellent movie about Che Guevara by Steven Soderbergh although I thought part 1 was better than part 2.

Benicio Del Toro was outstanding as Che.

The Thin Blue Line

One of the most influential docos ever made.

Director Errol Morris blows a Texas murder case wide open

The film helped exonarate a man wrongly convicted of murder by a corrupt justice system.

Randall Adams sued Morris upon his release...
