Showing the kids just sitting there with blood splatter on their face while gunshots could be word was very haunting. I wonder just how screwed up those poor kids are now.

according to news reports and in the book, jason was the passenger not the driver when shot, trivial i know but they should get it right. i sometimes kinda get the feeling that the show portrays carl as some kind of underworld super hero, killing off all the real bad guys - anyone else feel the same way?

Funny you say that stampy... I have got the impression that Jason was the 'good guy' and Carl the 'bad guy'. Perhaps knowing the outcome has clouded my perspective somewhat.

I am really pleased with how the show has progressed though, it has come a long way since ep1, IMO.

Extremely good series. I also get the impression they are trying to glorify Carl Williams aswell. But prehaps its easier to get the full story of the Williams side rather than the Carlton Crew.......

would you sit down in a room with Mick Gatto and ask questions about his criminal activity? I think not. Carl Williams on the other hand comes across in both the series and his Real life camera footage as a bloke who would be extremely happy to gloat about his adventures

Jason Moran was hardly a good guy- King St brawl anyone...?

Don't think 9 are trying to paint Williams as the Hero, perhaps he comes across more as the winner (which he is in way, by virtue of the fact that he's still breathing).

Probably didn't word that well - it just felt that is the way it was coming across to me. I certainly don't see any of them as good guys...

I definatly got the impression that the williams clan was representing the 'ordinary bloke' when they showed compassion towards the kid that topped himself. Interesting Williams comments in the paper last week claiming he feels like a victum of war saying if he did not kill them they would have killed him (Probably true)

probably true being a victim of war

but he decided to get involved in it

imagine how it all would have turned out if Carl was shot dead in the park by the Moran Bros.

I had sort of found myself 'barracking' for Carl against the Morans etc but now that you can clearly see he was responsible for two shootings in front of kids and thus screwing their lives up forever, I hope someone gets him in the big house. Gutless prick he is.......

I reckon that was part of my point last week - Williams responsible for those shootings, Moran portrayed as the 'footy dad'. It's really quite strange that our minds are all looking for a good guy, yet the cops haven't been mentioned...

On a more gratuitous note - that bird that the running man is with - holy smokes!

I loved the part when copper Steve chased down running man... specially when he was reading his rights.... "... you are under arrest for the shooting of err (shouting out to copper mate) .. what was his name ,mate (the guy who got shot) " was pee funny
