It was fantastic and classic Coen brothers - we were laughing one minute and shocked by the violence the next!

Second that. Brilliant moofie, Jeff Bridges with a cracking performance.

Absolutely fantastic movie. Great story, acting, good twists along the way.

Went and seen this tonight, one of the most boring half a movie I have seen. The wife and I had enough after an hour along with a few other couples who followed our lead in making the first move to the exit. Suckered in with the trailer

Never Let Me Go
Creepy and genuinely disturbing but like this review suggests full of subtle things that make it a wonderful movie

Watched Faster last night...pretty good. Didnt expect it to be very good, but the plots good and theres lots of action.

After that me and the missus watched Life As We Know It. Thought i was in for a good comedy, had a few good laughs at the start, then it got very very sad. A few more laughs in between the heart wrenching parts, but turned it off just over an hour in to go to bed coz it was getting a bit late...and i didnt wanna tear up in front of the missus...

Saw both "True Grit" and "The Hurt Locker" on the weekend and enjoyed both ... The Hurt Locker has a few questionable moments, but I was fairly riveted to it nonetheless.

Concur with comments about True Grit. Very enjoyable. Would like to see the John Wayne original again now to compare.

I saw it yesterday and thought it was fantastic. One of the best westerns I have seen.

There was so many memorable and emotional scenes. When the girl rides her horse through the river to catch up to Rooster and Le Bouf early on was one such scene.

Reakon True Grit was the best fillum I saw last year.

Though most people seem rather blase about it.

Perhaps the Coens brilliance is a little taken for granted these days...

Some of the guys on here were talking previously (think it's on this thread, might have to dig a bit) about a movie from which the Hitler in the bunker sports spoofs were taken from, and all seemed pretty adamant that it was a masterpiece.

Oh .. When you find the name of the movie, can you let me know, cheers ;)
