Without coughing up any spoilers, what did you think of the ending lads?

Seems almost every review on IMDB shit-cans it (the ending), suggesting it would have been a great movie if not for the last 15-20 minutes.

Any good ? thinking about taking my kids in the next few days. Haven't been to the drive-ins for decades, I have a station wagon and was thinking I would reverse the car and lift the boot up like the old days, are you still allowed to do this ?

Yep, movies were ok. Gullivers the better of the two. Little Fockers pretty average.

Yep, park as you like.

Part one of Outback Fight Club - tent boxing doco about Fred Brophy's fight troupe - was on SBS last night.

Part two next Tuesday night.

Worth a look...

The whole movie was a very well thought out movie that does keep you guessing. But, in saying that it did end very quickly. Still enjoyed it throughly.

Good Will Hunting.
Always easy watching.
Love the scene where the doc is trying to hypnotise him and he ends up singing Afternoon Delight!

Trainspotting.
Had never watched it the whole way through before, despite owning it for several years.
Loved it. Robert Carlyle's character's an animal!

That is a very good list. Super Troopers is a very underrated moofie.

Mine would be:

1. Casino Royale
2. Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy
3. Remember the Titans
4. Snatch
5. The Departed

1) Shawshank Redemption
2) Inception
3) Stepbrothers
4) Superbad
5) Men In Black

Watched Unstoppable, the movie about the runaway nuclear train with Denzel Washington. Wasn't expecting much but it wasn't too bad. 3.5 out of 5.

I couldn't rank just 5 best movies .. Even a top 10 would be difficult, but I'd think the following would appear in such a list:

Pulp Fiction
Last Of The Mohicans
The Departed
Almost Famous
As Good As It Gets

Always hard to remember all the movies you've seen off the top of your head .. Gangs Of New York is one I'd like to see again and I really enjoyed In Bruges.
