2. Christ kid, you're a weirdo!
3. God can see everything I do - and he's gonna beat me brainless.

6. Bubby a good boy... mummy's little boy.
7. Be still!
8. If that's all there is, then we're stuffed!

I once read a review of this movie describing it as a must see just for how bad it is. It was being shown at 2 am or something in the early 90's from memory.
I think I tuned in for a couple of minutes and.. am I right in saying they were driving around in dune buggys and shooting at people?
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail
1915, 1919, 1926, 1932, 1940, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1974, 1976, 2002, 2016, 2017

What's your best Aussie films top 10?

Instead of bringing out the usual suspects, here's a top ten list of...

Underrated, unsung and/or largely unknown Aussie movies

Backroads (1976)
The Plumber (1978)
Cathy's Child (1979)
Goodye Paradise (1982)
Struck By Lightning (1991)
Strikebound (1984)
Everynight... Everynight... (1994)
Dance Me to My Song (1998)
The Finished People (2003)
Em 4 Jay (2006)

(PS - Proposition is at least better than Take Away and The Nugget  )

Check out the interview with delusional director Bill Bennett on the DVD extras.

Especially the part where he proclaims The Nugget as "breaking new ground for Australian comedy."

Gold!

Top Ten Quotes from 'Animal House'
1 - Bluto: Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!
2 - Dean Vernon Wormer: Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son.
3 - Bluto: See if you can guess what I am now.
4- Otter: you can't hold a whole fraternity responsible for the behavior of a few, sick twisted individuals. For if you do, then shouldn't we blame the whole fraternity system? And if the whole fraternity system is guilty, then isn't this an indictment of our educational institutions in general? I put it to you, Greg - isn't this an indictment of our entire American society? Well, you can do whatever you want to us, but we're not going to sit here and listen to you badmouth the United States of America. Gentlemen!
5 - Pinto: I was thinking, maybe we could get some beer. Clorette De Pasto: Nah, not tonight. Besides, you might get lucky without it.
6 - Babs: Greg, honey, is it supposed to be this soft?
7 - Flounder: May I have ten thousand marbles, please?
8 - Clorette De Pasto: You've never made out with a girl before?
Pinto: No. No, I mean, I've never done what I think we're gonna do. I sort of did once, but i was...
Clorette De Pasto: That's okay, Larry. Neither have I. And besides, I lied to you, too.
Pinto: Oh, yeah? What about?
Clorette De Pasto: I'm only 13.
9 - Dean Vernon Wormer: Cut the horseshit, son. I've got their disciplinary files right here. Who dropped a whole truckload of fizzies into the swim meet? Who delivered the medical school cadavers to the alumni dinner? Every Halloween, the trees are filled with underwear. Every spring, the toilets explode.
10 - Neidermeyer: You're all worthless and weak! Now drop and give me twenty!
Roger Woodcock -- 602 goals from a forward flank makes you a legend.
