think Russ had to play the idol, it shows he is losing control though.

wouldve been handy if he had of kept it.

would the villains look at rupert or colby next time round and next episode has 2 tribals........

How is it that Colby has sailed through this far? he doesnt play the game well and wins nothing! With all of his original alliance gone, he still gets this far.... how?

The winner is quite often someone who 'sails through' and I think the same is going to be true this time. A very odd episode it was indeed

She's in the box seat now, playing a similar game to when she won last time. On the official Survivor website has anyone seen the Ponderosa section? It's footage of the evictee leaving TC (usually cussing) and being taken to the 'Ponderosa' - a luxury behind the scenes cabin where the jury members are in lockout as they eat, drink, plot and scheme. When Candace came in, the cold shoulder she got was priceless. Can't wait to see what happens if/when Russell gets moved on.

Love Rupert's work last night. Rock in the pocket, absolute genius! Hope he can hang on, he's one of my all time favourites besides Russell.

Russell has been far too panicky this time around, I reckon he's in strife now. He should've waited till he had at least 1 of Rupert/Colby gone before turning on his own 'villains'.

This series has been very entertaining that's for sure!

This series has been absolutely brilliant. Danielle must have wondered what the hell she did to deserve that from Russell.

He's the ultimate bad guy. I wonder what life will be like for him when he goes back to the real world?

Sandra is definitely the smoky. She should have been gone a long time ago, but with this idol (and the fact no one knows she's got it) she really holds an ace up her sleeve...

Hard to know whether you'd want to get rid of Russell though as if you were sitting next to him in the final, you'd know he had no chance of winning.

Yeah it was Ruperts only chance of sticking around by letting everyone assume he had the idol. It was a smart move but I am surprised they went for it... it was Russell's pure arrogance of assuring "Oh thats definately the idol... I am the hidden immunity idol king and I know what it looks like when its in your pocket". That sold it for everyone I reckon.

The best "HII Bluff" was in Series 18 Gabon where Professor Bob made a fake idol out of feathers and beads and stuff he found. It looked so real even Jeff had to check it wasnt the real one. One contestant did the same in series 19 Samoa by whittling a stick to kinda resemble a human figure and hiding it in a parchment in the same spot he found the idol. Some other guy found it and was kicking his heels knowing he had it. He formed a new alliance with some random chick on the basis of him having it until he showed it to her, to which she replied... "Thats not the idol!" "oh yeah, what is it then" he replied.... "Its just a stick " she scoffed. Funniest thing in that whole series

It'll come down to who wins the immunity idol. If they were smart, everyone would want to keep Russell because he's pissed so many people off. He's great to watch though! I'm on the Rupert bandwagon. It's great to see Amanda come in with the jury each week too...she's smoking!

I just started watching Season 2 again.. Australian Outback with Colby and Jerri. The show is sooo much more sleeker in production these days, but it was soo new back then. It truly is the best "reality' show by far.

Just finished watching final ep and reunion. Overall a great series, maybe best ever. Can't believe I'm back as a Survivor fan, having not watched it for a long time. Next one looks good too.

Yeah Just finished watching the last episode and reunion show.. Must say the winner isn't a total surprise but anyone to get to final three deserves to win it.
