The chapter by Tim Rogers of You Am I (which you can read on that site) shows a side of a band on your you'd never think of.

The book is a bunch of stories by musicians, music industry people, journos, venue operators, promoters, and those types of people. Very interesting read.

Where did you get it??
I have searched for it but cat find it anywhere!

A Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah.

The author was a boy soldier in Sierre Leone. Brilliant but very confronting.

Just completed "I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell" by Tucker Max.

The text comprises about 2 dozen vignettes about the author drinking to excess, making a complete @rse out of himself, and still managing to shag any female with a pulse.

Sheer, absolute, brilliance. Any bloke with the smallest modicum of male chauvinism in his soul should get a kick out of this book. Highly recommended.

Have heard that before, but decided to see for myself. Having read Huxley's earlier stuff like Antic Hay and Point Counter Point I reckon I can get past the 'nothing happening' and just enjoy the social commentary.

Excellent pick. It took some effort to get into, and the ending was a bit silly, but an excellent read nonetheless. Lots of detail in the panels, lots of subplot in the text, many themes explored.

I am looking forward to the movie, but I suspect it will not do the (graphic) novel justice.

I'm about to start reading The Man Who Owns The News (about Rupert Murdoch) and Guy Rundle's book on the US election.

OK but a bit thin - more like a toilet seat guide! Goes through all his recordings with some semi-authoritative analysis and several mistakes.
