Hate musicals but Little Shop of Horrors was pretty cool

Grease is a travesty. Absolute carp of the highest order. Only one good song on the whole album which was the title track and Greased lightning is passable at best. John Travolta as a singer makes a good dancer but his isn't even the worst voice on the album..Stockard Channing takes the mouldy old cake on that score.

The following songs should never be heard again plain and simple

We go together...fair dinkum absolute shocker
Beauty school dropout...PUKE
Summer nights........can't believe how many dimwitted teenagers dared to warble this shit out loud in bars over the years.
Stockard Channing's song...she sounds like a bloke LOL
Look at me I'm Sandy Dee...only if you shut up!!
Every Sha na na song ever written. Bin it now.
You're the one that I want. Even Olivia can't save this commercial turkey.

Overrated, overhyped, overexposed poo. The totally unecessary Grease Megamix was the biggest crime against humanity since Pol Pot.

A final REB rating of Grease.... :vom:

and those the albums good points.

regards,

REB

Did I see my name metioned ......mal?

Well a $38,000 bad debt of late has caused me to curtail our activities, we go toi all live shows here and a couple in Sydney. I thought we will rock you was deplorable, but for the last 10 minutes where they pulled it together. The modern Hair is a bit of a let down, but I admit I loved the Lion king.

Cats in Sydney was superior to most.

As Accor members we get a room at the Vic in Little Collins st. A real dive but we get excellent show seats as a result and use the Vic as the car park. Dont even bother with the room keys as we live 10 minutes up the Eastern Freeway.

Just at the moment I cant afford the movies.......LOL

But for TV, watched a replay of seven brides for seven brother lately. and it still is up there for musicals.

Cannot fathom how these two movies are not on the list. Also "Hedwig and the Angry Inch".

p.s. How can Moulin Rouge make it. What a bollocks list.

NOT the best way to be introduced to this art form.
Check out Wizard of Oz or Chicago for quality.
Everything film, bar A League of Their Own,that Madonna has done should be incinerated.
Or maybe she should be.

I wouldn't classify The Wall as a musical. It's just one big film clip. Good one at that. Daft Punk's Interstella 5555 would come under the same classification.
