Former jockey and extremely successful author Dick Francis has died.

Will probably always remain best known for this devastating moment in the 1956 Grand National...I believe it was the closest theQueen Mother ever came to having a winner there.

I'm sure you'll be relieved to hear that among your own countrymen Rolf is still knocking around somewhere and I saw dear old Barry Humphries on tv just the other night...oh yeh and I'm still waiting for you to take back that Peter Andre person and if you could find room for that awful ex-wife of his as well we'd be most grateful

...and there goes another one...exec-producer Gareth Wigan...not a terribly well known name but obviously behind a lot of huge films...
