Any idea what happened to MTV on foxtel... i know they made all these upgrades and changes and i did hear mention of mtv changing... but didnt know it was going???

Still on Foxtel like channel.Just look it up on your program guide

Ch 124 for some unknown reason. I assume MTV will remove all music and just be a strange mish mash of weird reality TV shows. Can't wait :roll:

I think Foxtel moved MTV and took it out of the music section because they don't really consider it a music channel anymore.

all makes sense now....

when i had a look through channels last night couldnt find it

Im glad they did too, I can't remember the last time I flicked through the music channel and saw any music on MTV :?

Agreed, with the exception of Headbangers Ball, which they play at some ungodly hour and play about 8 songs in an hour in between all the "Love calculator/Cheat calculator/boobie SMS" adverts..

Should p!ss it off altogether, their reality shows are truly awful.

Yeah it's been about a year since I had the channel on but it was just complete garbage with all these reality TV shows and like Mattee G all I ever used to watch on that channel was Headbanger's Ball and the odd concert.

I've always found Channel V's Metal On V to be a bit better than HB anyway. Channel V too IMO is rubbish, it was pretty good back in the day when they used to reguarly have live rock bands on there. I still watch Tomahawk's appearance on there every now and then.
