Anyone else see the footage and think, like me, that it was a staged stunt?

Beyonce is a good actress I suppose, but not good enough!

Seemed to me to be a bad, but successful attempt to get the VMA Awards and Kanye West onto every news service that day . Yet, I haven't heard anybody question it yet! Huge publicity stunt I reckon.

You mean the guy whose biggest hit "sampled" (aka ripped off) Curtis Mayfield? But he's so talented why would he need the publicity?

Perhaps a tad harsh on Kanye...i think almost every rappers biggest hit has sampled another song in some way
