Painful but I've seen worse. Actually much worse. At the Espy they use to have try outs on Sunday Afternoons for an hour before the more experienced stand ups took the stage and It was like watching one car accident after another after another after another...

In regards to McLachlan's performance. Former soapie stars should NEVER attempt stand up. Geoff Paine who was on Neighbours for a while was doing stand up gigs around Melbourne in the late 90's and it was like watching teeth being pulled. Stick to "acting" and leave the comedy to people who...oh I don't know....actually have a punch line.
