It's some other chick with a (very) mild resemblance, claiming to be Sansa .. She's been away from the North for so long Littlefinger was banking on noone being able to tell the difference

The books are brilliant, you just get lost in them .. Thoroughly recommend them to anyone who hasn't been down that path yet.

The Dragon Mother clearly has a new clause inserted in her contract about not showing her tatas.

Must admit, I was pretty devastated when I thought my favourite character was going to die, despite the sweet nipples that preceded his narrow escape from death.

Was anyone else pissed off with the way Barristan Selmy, "one of the greatest fighters the Seven Kingdoms has ever seen", was offed? I mean, come on, cut down by a pack of thugs? Piss poor television.

I don't know why I get these press releases, but here we go:

28/05/2015_ The survey conducted by Victoria Milan – a dating website for married and attached people looking to cheat – asked 6,258 of its male and female members across the globe, how tastes in TV series can affect the chances of success of an affair and what their ideal lover should be watching.

More than 50% of women surveyed say their date’s TV show preference is important – but only a third of women want to discuss TV with their date. On the other hand, 63% of men say a women’s taste in TV is not important to them at all, however the majority would like TV shows to be a topic of conversation while on a date.

When asked which TV show the perfect date should be watching, more than half of the men and women surveyed agreed on ‘Game of Thrones’, the show that has taken the world by storm with its erotic nature and twisting storylines.

Founder and CEO of Victoria Milan, Sigurd Vedal, said that television is an easy topic of conversation for first dates and something that most people have in common.

“First dates can be awkward, so finding that medium ground is a great way to relax and get to know each other. Chatting about TV shows is a great icebreaker.

“Men are happy to talk about TV shows when they are on a date – however their date’s favourite TV show isn’t going to factor into any decisions about the future of the relationship. Fewer women want to discuss television, but they believe their date’s TV show preference is important – maybe because they think it says a lot about a person,” Mr Vedal said.

Damn straight!!

Probably a victim of reading the book, but he's supposed to be a legend of the realm (and still alive lol), and he got rolled by those cretins!

The only thing that can happen for me to deem it acceptable, would be for Missandei to nurse Grey Worm back to health with her boobs.

Apparently he does die in the book, but his plot arc is far more glorious than that of the TV show.

And yes, a Missandei boob shot would have me forgive everything in an instant.

I've been careful all the way through, the above mentioned difference doesn't change anything for viewers, the blokes dead and it was just the timing that differed between the two. Giving up spoilers from the book is going to be tough even if someone wanted to now, because the two are just so completely different in so many ways.

For any GOT junkie (like myself) there's almost the code that follows the first rule of Fight Club. I can't recall a show that's remained so well guarded among fans so as not spoil it for non-readers.

That's a pretty good point too.

For other shows though, I try and seek out comment and opinion on the show. Mad men finale for instance, I went and read what people were thinking.

But for GoT I actively avoid it just in case people spoil it for me.

I really want to start reading the books. I have them at home, but FIFA on the Xbox usually wins out haha

By the end of this season I reckon the show will effectively be up to date with the books. Wouldn't surprise me if GRRM was holding back on releasing the next literary installments so that readers are more intrigued by the direction of the show. Plus he's a master at f&*#ing with his addicted audience lol.

The more the TV show differs the harder it will be for him to write the book - does he write it as if the TV show never existed or continue on from the TV show instead?
