Wasn't exactly sure which section this should go in, but oh well ...

Has anyone here been playing in any of the various Poker comps currently running throughout the state? If so, where have you been playing, whats it like there and how have you been faring?

Apparently Barry Dawson got third place in the Renmark Hotel's version of the event last night.

I know they're also held in Loxton. I thinkl Berri and Barmera also.

I think there's something like 80 odd pubs and clubs running them ... I know down our way the Port Club, Alberton, Lakes and Links Hotels have it going.

Was in sydney last weekend and they have one every sunday night at the Rooty Hill rsl, Its run a lot better than the one in adelaide i went to. But adelaide are only starting out, The one in sydney had about 200 hundred people in it

I know its at the Pier Hotel at glenelg on Tuesday nights. The first round starts on the 3/7

One of my mates is running some of the shows

He a 1991? Premiership player with the Roosters :toimonster:

The Seaford Tavern is just down the road from us and they do them every Thursday and Sunday nights.

Looking forward to having a go, no prizes but you have to get enough points to move on to the state titles where there is some money involved for the winners I think.

We do a lot of home games and its great fun. Best card game ever 8) :lol: 8)

If they advertised it I might actually go. But winning to much money at the casino lol

saw some donk drop around 300 at the 2/3 nl tables last friday in about 45 minutes

FOOL

he had some sort of WSOP card protector, I asked him how much that cost on EBAY and he almost hit me.

LMAO ... Thats a crackup!!

I've never played it at the chiphouse, but I have watched a few times and had to laugh at the tools sitting their doing their chip tricks that couldn't actually play for shite.
