North metro & south country definately the standout teams in division (pool) 2 from what Ive seen. For North the players to watch is M.Hellmanns, very smart, strong & mobile ruckman. On the wing F.Al Sarawi looked very impressive as did the smaller T.McCue. Roach & Tiller are both definately father/son rulings.

As for Richard Paynter on the North's country list (port augusta region), not sure if cousins or not not John Paynters son is playing for sturt under the father son rule, as well as being a sturt zoned player.

Thanks for the info IP, I think you've answered my question on the Day 3 summary too by pointing out its a pool as much as a division.
Cheers.

Todays results had port beat the eagles, glenelg beat westies in division (pool) 1. Both port & glenelg will go through to semi finals on friday, their ranking will depend on thursdays result.
As for division 2 north should beat south thursday which will take them into semis as top ranked team play the loser of port/glenelg. If this result goes as expected, south will join sturt/west/eagles out of the comp. Norwood play centrals thursday for the second ranked team to play winner of port/glenelg in semis.

I havent seen norwood yet, but north did beat them comfortably in the wet/windy conditions at noarlunga yesterday. Having said that, Ive seen Central twice and lets say I couldnt see them getting close to North either. Centrals definately outclassed by a desperate Sturt team today after two disappointing results earlier in the week.
