Geez I thought this game was at Richmond (think I presumed because Game 1 was at Glenelg), glad I realised now not on Sunday!

My sentiments exactly, yesterday they showed how they can play I expect nothing less from them next week.

it would be nice if we could see more of that attacking style which was displayed on monday, but the 3rd 1/4 from norwood is still in my memory, I just hope we dont slip back into that mode!!!!!!

This would have to be one of the biggest non finals games of the year for a club in the SANFL IMO.
If WAFC loose this one it will be very hard to get away from a threepeat of wooden spoons. An honour no club wants.
If we are 2 games .. er .. clear on bottom spot it would be a deep dark hole to climb out of.
All we can ask for is the boys to give it a red hot go. If we do that and loose it just means we are not quite ready to get out of the cellar, but if we have a real crack at it at least it will give the supporters some hope for the future.
Rome wasn't built in a day, lets hope that bloody Nero stays away though.

LETS NOT FORGET THat there is a cup up for grabs, and that the Tigers are on top in the charge for the cup!!!!!!!!!!!!!
a win on sunday would really boost the chances of holding a cup towards the end of the year!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope the Glenlg footballers that take the field Sunday know that last Monday will count for 2/5ths of bugger all if they do not reproduce that same level of intensity and application against West. This is a game we can not afford to lose or at least put in the same level of effort we saw agaisnt Norwood.
As I discussed with BPBRB on Monday I can handle losing provided the blokes have a fair dinkum crack but no way should our club lose to West if the players play with 100% intensity and application for 4 quarters... FFS we only played 2 & 1/2 quarters agaisnt them last time and only lost by 4 pts....
Any news if we have R Williams again??

Is Jimmy Sellar playing league or ressies? Was named on an extended bench in the league; did he make the final cut?
