Nothing of value to add at this stage, just thought we needed the topic started.

I am going, hoping to scare wedgies kids and grab some new hubcaps for my torana.

Also taking a torch so the photographers can get some good photos in the bad light.

Mwahahahaha!
Just wondering if we can put that photo up, so we know which of the derros are the really dangerous ones!

Anyway - seriously, I'll be there with friends and family in tow. Should be a good night!

Don't worry about my kids or my hubcaps boys, neither will be anywhere near Elizabeth on Saturday night. Kids never want to go back there again and would be upset if I went there so will spend some quality time on the computer watching the North scoreboard tick over instead.
Can't remember the last game I missed voluntarily (ie nothing else on).
More of a chance to go to the South v Eagles game, closer, safer, better time and a much nicer drive!

lol, sorry mate, being a good parent comes before being a good supporter. Plus I'd have to wait till at least 11.30pm to have my first beer for the day when I don't have to work the next day, no way Hose!

Nah Im serious, I was under the impression that the games with larger crowds only Centrals members could get into the Grand Central?

The members only thing at Grand Central those nights was bullshit. But I'm sure members get guest privileges.

Nup, members only at night games - no guests allowed from what I understand. Bloody stupid idea, IMO.

Really looking forward to the game, particularly now that junior smac is coming (was previously going away with his mum for easter). Should be a good night - catching up with plenty of old mates at the first game I have ever been to without my Pop (passed away recently). Past players/officials half time drinks won't be the same now.

Bring on the footy!!!

BAYMAN+ MAL are going to WA V ST first
then to Elizabeth at about 6-oo oclock
Can we get meals at the club where the TAB is ?

Please note BAYMAN + MAL are going to see this game
instead of going to Globe Derby.

not quite right smac. condolences on your father.

this was the announcement last year and ill check if it is the same for saturday night.

DEAR MEMBERS,

DUE TO THE POSSIBILITY OF BIG ATTENDANCES AT THE FORTHCOMING NIGHT MATCHES AGAINST GLENELG AND NORTH ADELAIDE, WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED BY THE “OFFICE OF THE LIQUOR AND GAMING COMMISSIONER” THAT STRICT CONTROL MUST BE MAINTAINED IN TERMS OF THE NUMBERS ALLOWED IN THE LICENSED CLUB.

THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CLUB ARE ALSO WISHING TO ENSURE THAT MEMBERS HAVE ACCESS TO THE CLUB ON THESE NIGHTS.

WE THEREFORE ADVISE THAT ENTRY TO GRAND CENTRAL ON THESE NIGHTS WILL BE LIMITED TO ONE (1) MEMBER AND TWO (2) GUESTS.

MEMBERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONDUCT OF THEIR GUESTS AND ABUSE OF THESE REQUIREMENTS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

KRIS GRANT

Sounds like you are starting a new tradition with Smac Jr, Smac. Won't be the same as it was with your Dad, but in a few years Smac Jr will feel the same as you did.

Hey Smac - I know what it was like going to my first Doggies game without my grandfather. It was a strange feelin. But with yer lad there - it'll be great I'm sure.

I'm really excited about Saturday night. Haven't been to a night game at Lizbeff before. Hope the lights are better than they were when I used to train there!
