I’ll stick my neck out and say Westies will finish bottom.

If that happens that will be 7 spoons from the past 8 seasons.

Good Luck N. Bassett!!!!

Norwood with their almost team of recruits will finish top.

Sturt will have something to say about that.

Only a huge shock will see Sturt not play Norwood in the GF
Think we will find it tough to make the five

Seriously don't care anymore,
will spend more time travelling than worrying about footy,
no point in getting excited about the game anymore,
we spend time, effort & money in trying to make the team strong so WE CAN WIN A PREMIERSHIP, only for our overlords to take the recruits away.
Then we sit & hope that those players will come back to us down the track (when their bodies have been thrashed to death).

Me also... done ski.

Used to get satisfaction watching players develop. But now what's the point.
The top teams are not the Clubs who develop the best kids. It s now about who can recruit the best.
Struggling to be invested when guys like Montgomerie dont care.

May as well support local ammo club.

.

Our last two Premierships had: Lovelock, Scharenberg, Snook, Stagg, Bailey, Proud, Addams, McCarthy, Martini, Hosie, Stretch, Allan, Holder, Pink, and Window, all Glenelg juniors

Recruits only complement your home grown talent, looking forward to seeing some of our junior talent progress next year

It is sad when passionate Doggies supporters Centurion,TDJ44 & Northerner have had enough they are probably not alone.
Not only from our club but others as well.

I have a counter argument
1991 AC started in the AFL
In the 52 man squad GL supplied the most, being10 players
Bartlett Hocking Jamieson Liptak Marshall McDermott McGuiness Murphy Rouvray Thompson

GL had played in 5 of the previous 6 grand finals
After the mass loss of players it took the club until 2019 to win its next flag

There will be other factors for that drought- the BIggest reason is the loss of players[ and the coach] into the 1990s
But the thing is , had the AC not have taken the above 10 players , there's every chance the Bays would have won flag/ flags in at least the 1990s

BAYS lost 10 excellent players- and I dont reckon they replaced them adequately

I'm sure that everyone has had enough.
