Comprehensive win...... for the past two seasons this squad was working hard and had a solid defensive structure. The last fortnight we have witnessed a functioning forward line rewarding the efforts. Lange, Gasper, Grace and Thomas were a constant threat.
Liddys first half was outstanding.
Kobe Annand was impressive against a decent opponent.
Whitelum and Adams continue to shine as rebounding defenders..
Kitschkes recruitment might just prove to be mastersbroke as it has allowed us to cover Brinn Little as well as we could have possibly hoped for.

Jezza might be ruing his career move... he is a long way off last seasons form, and would be further down the list of AFL recruiters than 12 months ago.
Shay linke also didn't show any reason why we might be missing him.

Great win, two weeks in a row over 100 points. Jezza not exactly "developing", his game, 11 possessions probably 3 kicked to us and a free kick against that ended up a goal for us.
Kobe Annand more than double the possessions of Soldo and more than Visentini. Progressing well.
Pretty much all played well again.

Pedestrian 8 goal win against the wharfie scum.

Liddy was outstanding in the first half. Harry the second. Annand is a damn good pick up. He’s a Solid competitor in all facets.

McLennan was putrid and copped plenty

Soldo was WOG. He has gone backwards big time

IMHO, having the top three sides from the previous year play on this special Day would have been appropriately complimented by having the fourth placed team rewarded an appearance as well. Not the 'spooners.

Anyway, this was this was the first time this year the 'Dogs have been outscored after lemon time.

I think part of the buzz around the Club atm is due to the fwds finally becoming the threat that they always posed.
In Grace, Lange, Gasper and Thomas we have 4 guys who are capable of kicking a handful whilst Presbury and Anzac are workers. Tomkinson is the unknown; at present he is providing the same role as Munn but he could settle into being a decent contributor both as a scorer and an agitator.

Twice in a row we have scored north of 100 points. In 7 previous seasons we had passed 100 points just once. Our defensive capabilities have been decent for a while, now with some improved delivery from the mids we have put together some quarters of footy where we are getting reward for our efforts. Hopefully this can continue over the rest of the season.

Short memory.

You'd care to offer some expansion?

Ignore the accidental thumbs up.
