South, if we can't have this 'team' out of our S. A. N. F. L., then you have but one job this weekend.

Make 'em join their misfit AFL reserves mates at the arse end of the table.

Go Panthers. Any margin will do, couldn't give a toss how big.

Gollant O’Brien and Taylor.. already named. Possibly the strongest Crows side this year.. but still fancy the team playing for 2 pts as a priority to win

Great win for the Panters against a solid Ravens line up.. in fact a good day for the “no” voters all round.. ;-)

Only O'Brien, Pedlar and Murray are currently AFL standard. High picks Curtin,Ryan and Edwards still have a long way to develop. And the others are just C or D grade AFL players. So it wasnt a good Crows line up at all

Satisfying to end a 5 game losing run to the Ravens, avenge the narrow Round 1 loss, and relegate the two interlopers to the bottom rungs of the ladder.

Pretty scrappy and low standard encounter overall. South shoulda/coulda lead by a lot more than 21 at 3/4 time before appearing to go very defensive in the final term. Ravens pulled with 8 points before a Emilie-Brennan goal secured the win

Dunkin, Mutch and Sampson combined for 90 touches, although the latter wasn't as influential as usual. Summerton was excellent down back when it mattered, while debutant Hindes kicked a couple of goals. Fellow debutant Pilmore also did a few nice things. Megins did an admirable job in ruck. Pleasing to win without Fitt and Wilkinson hitting the scoreboard, although Fitt's first half was important.

South made their tackles stick today, a lot of Ravens' caught HTB. The game was quite well officiated ;)
