The annoying boundary advertising was hocking Burley footballs. I thought the SANFL was using Sherrins this year?

The 15 minutes I've seen have been of a good standard.

Answering my own question: Now the boundary signage is advertising Sherrins, the Official SANFL Ball.

Nice to start the season a bit better than our horrendous beginning last season. From what I saw looked a good contest. Far too early to tell where both sides sit in the pecking order, but thankful for 2 early points.

I believe that top photo has been altered and should be removed.

As Doc doesn't like altered photos I won't be posting photos of final Norwood league and reserves scores as I need to alter them to fit onto these pages. Instead a random photos from the Web image library will be used instead. ;)

Both sides very even. Terrific pace and tackling such that I cant remember a player bouncing the ball, it all seemed handball and kicking. Boyd was very good considering he hadnt played a trial game. Callow was kept quiet to 1 goal by good defence by his opponent. Norwod are a much faster side this year on par with Sturt at the moment and the tackling has also improved. THe score didnt reflect how close the game actually was and both sides were a little rusty at times so it will be interesting to see when they next meet.

Go Legs.
